Writing Custom Code In Ssrs Introduction

If we were to pick one of the fastest growing companies of the last decade, we would probably pick SilverStone. The company was founded in spring 2003, despite that, only two years later sales were strong and they had earned a great reputation among enthusiasts.

Today SilverStone are one of the major computer PSU and chassis manufacturers and they have a very diverse product line-up which also include coolers, audio amplifiers and computer accessories. They remain focused on computer cases and power supplies however and have a great variety of products in both categories. Not long ago we reviewed one of their premium 1200W units, the Decathlon DA1200, and today we are going to review another 1200W unit from SilverStone, the Zeus ZM1200M.

It is logical to wonder why SilverStone have two 1200W units of similar specification in their line-up, but actually they don’t really produce two different 1200W units; they currently produce four! If you want high end units then look no further.

The Zeus ZM1200M is the pinnacle of what SilverStone currently has to offer. SilverStone markets the Zeus as a workstation unit, something quite strange for a fully modular PSU, but with four 1200W units among their ranks it is understandable that SilverStone is trying to categorize them.

The Zeus ZM1200M is not a revamped version of the Decathlon DA1200 unit; it’s an entirely different design down to the core. It is also one of the very few PSUs which have six 12V lines, but it also has the ability to merge all six lines into one, manually.

Packaging and Bundle

The Zeus 1200W unit is supplied in a strong dark box lacking intricate artwork, there is however a wealth of data about the unit’s performance and features, as well as many of the components Silverstone use to create the PSU.

Despite this being the most premium unit SilverStone have to offer, the bundle is nothing spectacular; as well as the black 3M mounting screws, a couple of cheap cable ties and a basic AC power cable, the only noteworthy item is the bag for storing the modular cables you aren’t going to need.
