Cooler Master Hyper Z600 CPU Cooler

On First Page2. The Cooler

Introduction

At Cebit earlier this year Cooler Master were displaying their new range of CPU coolers, however they were not quite ready for retail availability. That changed in May with the release of the Hyper Z600, a large but very stylish item which is designed to operate silently or in single and dual fan configurations. Today we will be running the Z600 through a number of tests using Intel’s X9770 CPU to establish just how good Cooler Masters new product is.

Cooler Master’s Hyper CPU cooler is packaged in a box which gives the product excellent protection as well as being informative. On the outside there are a number of images which show the design of the cooler along with a list of specifications. Inside the heatsink is protected on all sides as well as being covered by a layer of foam.

Neatly tucked away in one of the box walls are all of the bundled items. We have back plates and retention plates for use with Intel (775) and AMD (940, AM2/+) motherboards, the various screws required, a tube of thermal paste and four clips used for attaching fans to the cooler. There is also a small warranty booklet and a large fold out sheet with instructions in multiple languages on how to install the cooler.
