Introduction

When buying a budget graphics card the number one aim is to get the best performance for the money… if that card happens to also have some great features then it is an added bonus. With the 9500 GT XXX Alpha Dog Edition this is exactly what XFX are trying to give consumers, a great value card with enhanced performance and all the features we would expect on a high end model such as Blu-Ray Video Acceleration and the ability to process PhysX calculations. Considering this card is £20 less than some widely available overclocked models then we already have the potential for an award winning product.

Today we will be throwing a few of the latest and greatest gaming titles at the 9500 GT XXX as well as some PhysX processing and media playback to ascertain whether this product really is the card of dreams for a budget minded consumer.
