Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme 4870X2

On First Page2. Packaging & Bundle

Introduction

Arctic Cooling is a company who regularly impress us. From their cases such as the Silentium T3 to their PSUs and even their thermal paste they rarely disappoint and are often class leaders.

In the past we have reviewed several of their GPU coolers and each time we have found them to improve significantly on those offered by graphics manufacturers. One card which badly needs an aftermarket cooler is the 4870X2 from ATI, when we first reviewed that card we recorded temperatures as high as 96 degrees Celsius. So it is quite surprising that very few alternative cooling solutions are available on the market.

With the subject of today’s review Arctic Cooling hope to continue their successful line of GPU cooling products, read on to find out if the Accelero XTREME 4870X2 is up to the task of cooling ATI’s dual GPU monster.
