Introduction

Sapphire are well known as being the largest ATI partner and they produce some of the finest graphics cards on the market. Even though until a few months ago Sapphire focused solely on designing and producing ATI/AMD based motherboards and graphics cards, this year they have diversified into other areas of the market. Sapphire’s first efforts brought them into the PSU market with the company releasing the FirePSU 625W which we reviewed several months ago.

A few weeks ago Sapphire made another move into the PSU market. This time their move was much bolder, as the company released an entire new series consisting of four new products. Their new Pure series of units are designed to catch the attention of all kinds of technology enthusiasts. It is one of these new products which we will review today and the most powerful of the new series, the Pure 1250W PSU.
