Apple launch new products including ‘Magic Mouse’

Apple announced new product upgrades to its range yesterday, just a few days before Windows 7 gets launched.

The new iMac arrives in two models, one with a mammoth 27 inch screen (starting at $1,699) and the other with a smaller 21.5 inch screen (starting at $1,199). Both of these offer sexy LED backlit panels. They are also supplied with 3.06ghz Intel processors and come with the new multi touch Apple mouse. Sadly enough there is still no support for Bluray.

The newly upgraded 13 inch Macbook is $999, which signifies no price increase and has also some new features previously exclusive to only the higher end models including the new battery system with up to 7 hours life as well as a multi touch track pad. The Mac Mini also sees some enhancements without a price hike.

The biggest talking point however is the new Magic Mouse which is supplied with the new iMacs and can be bought seperately, it has a touch sensitive entire top surface and it is aware when you are using two fingers instead of just one to trigger certain functions – such as right clicking or going back or forward through webpages in Safari.
