Introduction

With so many systems to choose from it is hard to believe that the first time we saw an ION based system was just over 12months ago. To say it has become a hit is a real understatement but this shouldn’t be a surprise given the potential NVIDIA’s platform has, especially given that it supports features such as CUDA, Blu-Ray acceleration and 7.1 audio.

Today we have one of the latest models released on our test bench, the ASRock ION 330HT-BD is one of the highest specification ION/ATOM systems we have seen to date. We will be running it through a selection of real world tests to find out if it can become the centre of a home theatre environment.
