Microsoft Blasts Google Chrome

Microsoft have attacked Google’s Chrome browser for its lack of privacy.

“As I start to type an address into the address bar, Fiddler [a Web debugging proxy] shows that for nearly every character I type, Chrome sends a request back to Google,” LePage says. “I haven’t even hit enter yet to load the website and Google is already getting information about the domain and sites I’m visiting.”

Arstechnica has posted an entry on how Google Chrome is able to search in the URL address bar rather than just the search box as in IE8.

The page with the original information on Microsoft’s Edge.Technet page seems to no longer be working however the video posted by Microsoft is still live.

Is there such a thing as privacy on the internet?
