Accoding to Digitimes, Techeye reports that Chian, senior vice president of Globalfoundries let it slip that the initial batch of Llana APU chips which are the first iteration of Fusion will use TSMC’s 40nm node process. The Llano will have two parts to it, fused together on a single die providing the CPU and GPU part. The GPU is interesting in that it will be a fully fledged DirectX 11 chip with many stream processors from 240 to 480 SP’s and capable of GPGPU functions. Share On
