The latest iteration of Intel’s Core CPU’s for the Ultra-Thin Laptop market have been released on a 32nm node technology. The benefits are 32% smalller die than its 45nm counterparts and with 32% percent better performance. Unfortunately Intel didn’t land the hat trick and only got 15% lower power consumption for these new processors. Expect a whole line of ULV laptop announcements, a market that has become stagnant after the release of netbooks, over the least two years, that can just barely browse the internet and do simple office work with.
