Kingston HyperX DDR3 2400 and DDR3 1600 LoVo Review

2. Kingston HyperX DDR3-24004. Test System

Kingston HyperX DDR3-1600 LoVo

Kingston packages their LoVo series memory in standard plastic packaging which also contains a small warranty information leaflet. The modules themselves use a green PCB with stylish aluminium heatsink and are unbuffered, Non-ECC sticks. Timings for these 2GB parts are 9-9-9-27 and we have SPD timings for 609MHz and 685MHz as well as an XMP profiles for DDR3-1600 and 1334MHz. As with the performance HyperX series on the last page these sticks have a lifetime warranty however they differ in one significant way from most memory on the market for Core i3/i5/i7… these modules only require 1.35v for operation at 1600MHz. In addition to that, the 1333MHz XMP profile actually sets 1.25v!
