Corsair Obsidian 700D Case – IntroductionFor as long as this writer can remember Corsair has been a significant player in the memory market, whether it was mainstream modules or sticks aimed at enthusiasts they always delivered in terms of performance and quality. Recently they began expanding into other markets such as USB storage but most notably with a range of power supplies which have gained a fantastic reputation for performance, reliability and overall quality. In addition to this their range of SSDs and more recently coolers has also been more than a little successful so when the opportunity arose in October last year to review Corsairs first PC case we jumped at the chance. |

The Obsidian 800D was a premium product which won our Gold Award, impressing us with the overall quality and ease of use as well as the thermal performance. Not everyone can afford this high end chassis though and to cater for some of those users Corsair have launched the 700D which features many of the same design aspects at a lower price point. Today we find out if the 700D can live up to Corsairs reputation for award winning products.
