Akasa Venom – Box, Bundle and Packaging

The Akasa Venom is supplied in a reasonably large cardboard box and is protected by an inner tray which is vacuum-formed from transparent plastic. The front of the box incorporates a plastic window that allows the cooler to be seen directly without opening the box. On the sides and rear of the box, Akasa have included a variety of product photos and details of the coolers features and specifications.

Aside from the 120mm fan and the small packet of thermal compound, everything else included in the box is involved in the mounting of the cooler. There is a motherboard back-plate with protective film, a mounting plate for Intel 1366/1156/775 systems and a mounting clip for AMD AM3/AM2 systems. We also find eight rubber fan mounting pins; four for the included fan and four for another fan if desired. Akasa have supplied us with a second fan for testing.
