Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset Review

Razer are best known for their mice and to a certain extent a good keyboard range however as experience has taught us they also know what it takes to make a quality audio product. In the past we have reviewed the majority of their audio range and each time they were award winners with the most impressive being the USB based Megalodon 7.1 headset and the stunning Mako 2.1 speakers.

Recently we have reviewed a number of gaming headsets here on HardwareHeaven, from Sennheiser’s latest PC360 to the unique Psyko 5.1 and more recently the SteelSeries 7H and Corsair HS-1. With all this experience behind us we have a great understanding of the current headset marketplace however there is one significant headset which we haven’t yet tested… and should have long before now. That product is Razer’s Carcharias which is still their high end gaming product and today we have one plugged into our test system to see how it performs in an ever evolving marketplace.
