XFX Pro Series PSU Review (650W, 750W and 850W Core Edition)

XFX are a company that really don’t stand still for long. Since achieving success as a manufacturer of NVIDIA cards they have evolved significantly, bringing motherboards into their product catalogue, moving to AMD branded products and even offering PSUs. We previously covered their existing high end range which has the Black Edition moniker and it, like its graphics card counterparts, performed well in our testing and received a gold award as well as a 49/50 rating in our scores.

That’s quite a reputation for the rest of their PSU range to live up to and today we have the first products in a new range of PSUs from XFX on our test bench. These models, aimed at the value conscious consumer who doesn’t like to compromise, should be in-stock across the web tomorrow but are they worth buying?
