Mafia 2 – DirectX 9

Recently 2K Games released one of the most anticipated games of 2010, Mafia 2, which is a title that looks fantastic in surround mode and for those who have a capable system it also supports PhysX and 3D.

Testing was performed at 1920×1080 with anti-aliasing ON and 16x anisotropic filtering. High in game settings were enabled and PhysX was set to Off/High.

When playing Mafia 2 our GTX 460 is processing the graphics and PhysX workload at the same time, creating an unmatched visual experience for this game. The Radeon doesn’t support PhysX so we lose some of the environmental effects but otherwise the game plays well, topping out at 113 frames per second.
