XFX Radeon HD 5770 Single Slot Tested with 5 Latest Games and 3D Blu-Ray

Civilization 5 – DirectX 11

Civilization 5 was released at the end of September and in a somewhat surprising move the developers have included a number of advanced graphical features in the latest version of this franchise. This includes support for DirectX 11 and terrain tessellation, ensuring this is the best looking Civilization ever.

Testing was performed at 1920×1080 with no anti-aliasing. High in-game settings were enabled.

We start this article with a look at Civilization 5 and the XFX 5770 passes this test with flying colours. Running the game at 1920×1080 and maximum detail it never falls below 57 frames per second, ensuring smooth gameplay throughout.
