Call of Duty Black Ops was released a few weeks ago and we took an initial look at performance in our GTX 580 articles. Now with a little more game time under our belts and a demanding section of gameplay located we have more complete performance figures for this best-selling title.
Testing was performed at 1920×1080 with 4x anti-aliasing and maximum in-game settings.
When playing Call of Duty: Black Ops the GTX 570 and 6970 are again pretty close in performance with the Gigabyte card just edging ahead of the Sapphire model. The 6950 is a few frames behind the 6970 and manages to exceed the 5870 by 3fps on average framerate however the older card does have a small advantage on minimum framerate.
