Aliens vs Predator – DirectX 11

Everyone is familiar with the Aliens VS Predator franchise, this time Sega have rebooted the licence taking over from Sierra. AVP is a DirectX 11 game, which means we have advanced shadow rendering and high-quality tessellation for compatible cards.

Testing was performed at 1920×1080 with 4x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering. Maximum in-game settings were enabled.

Aliens Vs. Predator, a DirectX 11 game, gives us our first look at the GTX 570 performance and the first thing which stands out is the difference in framerate when compared to the GTX 470. Our Inno3D GTX 570 OC is over ten frames per second faster than a stock GTX 470 on average framerate and peaks at 22fps faster on maximum framerate.
