Civilization 5 – DirectX 11

Civilization 5 was released at the end of September and in a somewhat surprising move the developers have included a number of advanced graphical features in the latest version of this franchise. This includes support for DirectX 11 and terrain tessellation, ensuring this is the best looking Civilization ever.

Testing was performed at 1920×1080 with 8x anti-aliasing. High in-game settings were enabled.

Civilization 5 is one of the newest games in our testing and is DirectX 11 enabled but that doesn’t stop our cards from performing very well. All offer flawless performance in this game with the GTX 570 giving us the best performance in each of the measured areas.
