Released a few weeks ago EA’s reboot of Medal of Honor sold more than 2 million copies in its first two weeks of release. With a single player game based on v3 of the Unreal engine and multiplayer which uses Frostbite this FPS offers gamers two distinct gaming experiences.
Testing was performed at 1920×1080 with anti-aliasing on and 16af. All game settings were set to their maximum level.
The performance seen in Bad Company 2 earlier in the review gives us an indication of the framerates we would see in MoH multiplayer as that aspect of this game uses the same engine. Single player on the other hand uses Unreal Technology and so performance is significantly different with much higher framerates. Despite these higher framerates the results trend remains the same though with the new GTX 570 performing much higher than the GTX 470 as well as beating the Radeon 5870 Black Edition.
