HIS Radeon HD 6970 Turbo Graphics Card Review

It has been just over a month since AMD launched their 6900 series of GPUs and in that time we have seen various models released by their partners. Unfortunately though, most of these were essentially rebadged models with identical specifications. That is now starting to change and one of the first manufacturers to bring an overclocked model to market is HIS with their "Turbo" branded card.

Today we have the HIS Radeon 6970 Turbo on our test bench and have paired it with an overclocked Core i7-980X to see how well it performs against the standard 6970 and GTX 570 in a selection of real world gaming tests, media playback, stereoscopic 3D and GPU computing.
