We see a lot of products here at Hardware Heaven and although the items we cover are usually interesting and often impressive in one way or another they rarely offer a true surprise. Sometimes that is because of leaked information which lets us know some of the basics of a product, at other times it is because we have seen variations on the same design before. Today though we have an item which does offer a surprise of sorts…

On our test bench is a product from Sapphire which contains a NVIDIA GPU… yes, NVIDIA. The Edge-HD is a small ATOM/ION system which Sapphire say could be the smallest PC in the world. We will be putting it though a number of real world tests which include Blu-Ray playback, GPU media encoding and power use to find out whether it meets the needs of the average consumer.
