Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti Super Overclock Graphics Card Review

Over the last month or so we have taken a look at a number of GTX 560 Ti models from various manufacturers and in the majority of cases we have been impressed. The stock GTX 560 Ti is a good card with great performance for the price and offers a nice entry into stereoscopic 3D and PhysX. That said the reference design does have some stiff competition from the Radeon 6870 and more recently the 6950 1GB.

In order to make their product more attractive to the end user and sway them towards it most manufacturers release redesigned cards which improve on various aspects including cooling and speed, something we saw last week when we looked at XFX’s 6950 XXX. Another manufacturer who takes this approach is Gigabyte and in the past we have seen some excellent custom cards from them, today we see if they can keep up this high level of quality with the GTX 560 Ti Super Overclock as it takes on the XFX Radeon in some of the latest games, GPU computing tasks and media playback.
