Total War: Shogun 2 – DirectX 11

Shogun 2 was released recently and features an enhanced version of the Total War engine which uses DirectCompute for depth of field, contact hardening shadows (higher quality) and hardware tessellation.

Testing was performed at 1280×768 with no anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering. Medium in game settings were enabled.

On the last page we saw the 6450 working well with Crysis 2 and in Shogun 2 the good performance continues, the game was perfectly playable at our tested settings offering an enjoyable experience.
