Shift 2 is based on the cross-platform Madness Engine which also powered the original Shift. This latest version adds tweaks for enhanced realism when compared to the older game.

Testing was performed at 1280×768 and medium in game settings were enabled.

On the last couple of pages we have seen some good performance from the 6450 at 1280×768 which is ideal for HDTV use. That strong performance continues in the recent release, Shift 2: Unleashed where the new AMD card averages 29fps with medium detail enabled.
