Civilization 5 was tested in DX10/11 mode with a resolution of 1280×768 and low detail.

On the last few pages we took a look at how the 6450 performs in some of the latest games and the results were decent. On this page and the next few we compare it to the integrated GPU on our i5-2500T CPU as this is the type of upgrade scenario that AMD are targeting.

When we play Civ 5 on the two GPUs we see that the performance offered by AMD is significantly higher than the integrated GPU. We could consider increasing the detail levels on AMD whereas the Intel GPU is at its limit on low settings.
