Antec High Current Gamer 620W Power Supply Review

Conclusion

When we reviewed the 900w version of the High Current Gamer we praised Antec for its good build quality, design and performance. The 620w version doesn’t quite have the looks of the higher spec model however it is still a well-built unit both inside and out. The paintwork and finish for example are flawless and inside the use of Japanese capacitors and Seasonic as the OEM guarantee quality and reliability.

The performance of the unit is good for a product in this price range with stable voltages recorded as well as bronze level efficiency. There were no issues with AC Ripple and minimal noise levels with low temperatures were a highlight.

Summary
At £70/$110 with a 3-year warranty the High Current Gamer 620w offers an affordable PSU with good build quality, stable electrical performance and decent efficiency. Ideal for gamers on a budget.
