DiRT 3 – DirectX 11
DiRT 3 features a new version of Codemasters EGO engine which, like the DiRT 2 and F1 2010 versions, features support for DirectX 11. DirectX 11 mode is enabled by selecting ultra-detail and from this we gain improvements such as enhanced lighting and advanced tessellation.
Testing was performed at 1920×1080/1680×1050 and ultra in game settings were enabled.
As Sapphire bundle DiRT 3 with their 6670 Ultimate (as well as additional cards in their range) it is important that we get a good gaming experience in this title and the card doesn’t disappoint. We are able to enable 1680×1050 and Ultra/DirectX 11 mode and achieve playable framerates which is great for a £80 card.
