Crysis 2 – DirectX 9

One of the most eagerly anticipated titles of 2011, Crysis 2 promises a great single player campaign, first class visuals and an in depth multi-player mode. Our testing is based on the final version of the game rather than the multi-player demo.

Testing was performed at 1920×1080 with Extreme Detail.

As with DiRT 3 the 6950 offers good performance in Crysis 2 and when playing at 1920×1080 with Extreme settings we average 47 frames per second, a little less than the Nvidia card. It will be interesting to see how the upcoming DirectX 11 patch impacts performance in this game.
