There is no doubt that with the current generation of SSD’s, even with some great Marvell drives out there, that models based on the latest Sandforce controller are proving the most popular. Even within the various manufacturers who offer their drives there are numerous models with varied performance tweaks, something proven by todays review product.

A few weeks ago we covered the Corsair Force Series GT drive, a performance tuned model based on Sandforce technology. Today we have the Force Series 3 drive on our test bench, a drive that aims to target a lower price point while still offering excellent performance.
