Dell XPS 8300 Desktop ReviewIn August last year we took a look at Dell’s Studio XPS 7100, a desktop system which was designed to offer as much performance and quality as possible for those on a low budget. That machine managed to hit a decent price point and scored well in our conclusion where we thought that it would be ideal for students or an all-round media box. |

Now a year later we have an updated model on our test bench, the XPS 8300 based on H67 and 2nd Generation Core CPUs (SandyBridge). With prices starting at £429/$699 the XPS 8300 is advertised as offering great multi-tasking performance and decent gaming/media features. Let’s find out if Dell has achieved that.
