Samsung Chromebook – A Guide

Since its first release Google’s Android has offered mobile users an interesting proposition in the mobile operating system arena and the recent move into a Tablet specific version with 3.0/Honeycomb has seen devices really start to excel. These new Tablets have been seen to take a chunk out of the netbook market with a number of consumers opting for what is a very attractive form factor.

Chrome OS is designed to offer quick access to the internet with a fully functional browser and with it additional functionality through remote services such as Google Docs (for Microsoft Office style tasks) and additional features through Apple/Android style apps which are downloaded from Google’s Web Store.

Today we take a look at the first mainstream Chromebook, from Samsung, to find out what it offers, how the operating system works and who it might appeal to.
