Samsung Galaxy SII Smartphone Review
Just over a week ago Samsung and Google announced their latest handset, the Galaxy Nexus along with Google’s new Android 4.0 operating system, which is due for release at the start of November on various networks/carriers. That phone has cutting edge specifications but it will also have a high cost associated with it.
Samsung’s other high end handsets on the other hand have been in the market for a few months now and there are good deals to be had in every region so what better time to look at the model below the Nexus, the Galaxy S2 which will likely get its own upgrade to Android 4.0 in the coming months…
Packaging and Bundle
The Samsung Galaxy S2 arrives in a slim line box with minimalistic design. Sliding off the foam reinforced box lid, we find the handset, resting flush with the top of the box, on a ridged black plastic shelf.
Underneath the shelf we find the bundled accessories. These are so tightly packed into the minimalist packaging as to be reminiscent of Chinese puzzle box. The bundled items are a mains charger, USB cable and a colour co-ordinated set of earphones (in our case white). Nuzzling up to these are a re-sealable bag with 3 different sizes of earbud, a warranty card and quick start guide.
