CM Storm – Trooper Case Review
Over the last few years we have seen some exceptional cases from Cooler Master. Their Cosmos range for example was a great product which had a nice design, good build quality and high levels of airflow. More recently we have seen some good products released by the gaming arm CM Storm, such as the Sirus headset and Zero-G mouse. It comes as no surprise though that CM Storm also have a range of cases and the latest model is their highest specification part yet.
The CM Storm Trooper, which is probably the best case name ever, features a number of enthusiast features and packs them into a significant chassis, priced at a sub $190/£140 level. This is CM Storm taking on the likes of Corsair’s 600 series and Xigmatek’s Elysium.
Packaging and Bundle
CM Storm package their case in a box which gives us a clear image of the product on the front along with product information on the other sides. Inside the case is protected by foam and wrapped in a foam bag.
Bundled with the case we get a detailed manual, and all the screws/items required to build a system in the chassis. There are also wiring ties/holders and a speaker for those motherboards which do not have one built on, drive bay trays and extension wires are present too.
