Corsair Vengeance 1500 7.1 USB Gaming Headset Review

In September 2010 Corsair entered the audio market with their HS1 USB headset. Designed by a group of audio experts with huge experience in the industry that headset offered great sound quality, plenty of features via the USB soundcard and was priced very competitively.

The HS1 was followed by the HS1A (lacking the USB) and the SP2200/2500 desktop speaker systems and in our reviews we found them to be exceptional, especially the SP2500 which is still one of our favourite audio products.

Now Corsair are back with a new range of gaming gear which includes keyboards, mice and a new range of headsets at the top of which the Vengeance 1500 currently sits. Today we have the Vengeance 1500 on our test bench and will find out if it offers a good alternative to the likes of Razer and SteelSeries in the gaming marketplace.

Packaging and Bundle

The Vengeance 1500 arrives in a box which gives a clear image of the product. We get plenty of information on the specification and features across the various sides and a window allows us to see the headset inside. There are no significant bundled items with this product.
