SteelSeries Diablo 3 Gear: Headset and Mouse for PC/Mac Review

Over the past few years SteelSeries have created some of the best gaming peripherals on the market. Notable items are the excellent 7H headset and more recently the Sensei mouse which is one of the best products we have tested, ever. They have also been responsible for creating some rather unique gaming products with their World of Warcraft mice. Featuring unique styling those models, especially the first, became must buy items for the WoW fan.

Continuing their great working relationship with Blizzard SteelSeries are back with a new set of gaming peripherals based on the upcoming Diablo 3. We have the Diablo 3 Headset and Mouse on our test bench today and have been taking them through a few dungeon runs to find out how they perform.

Packaging and Bundle

Both the headset and mouse arrive in packaging which match the Diablo 3 brand with an image of the product centred on the front. This flips open to reveal the product and on the back we get plenty of feature and specification information. Inside the headset box we find the unit sitting on a red plastic holder and bundled with it is a 2m USB extension cable and product documentation. The mouse bundle also features Diablo themed documentation.
