Xigmatek Gigas Case Review

Every so often we get a product in for review which looks pretty good on paper but it is only when using it that we get to see how truly impressive it is. One such product was the Xigmatek Elysium which we reviewed back in April. This full size tower case found the perfect mix of build quality, flexibility, performance and most surprisingly, value, to create one of the best enthusiast cases we have ever tested.

Given the fantastic experience we had with the Elysium we were keen to see what Xigmatek would release next and one of their new products is on our test bench today. The Gigas is a compact chassis for Micro-ATX and mini-ITX boards. Aimed at those who want something stylish but with plenty of flexibility and airflow lets find out if it is another success story for Xigmatek.

Xigmatek package their case in a box which gives us a clear image of the product along with a breakdown of the design ethic. Inside the case is protected by foam and wrapped in a plastic bag and the foam reinforced by cardboard sections.

Bundled with the case we get a reasonably detailed manual and all the screws/items required to build a system in the chassis. There is also a fan controller which sits in a PCIe slot and controls up to three devices.
