Antec Eleven Hundred Case Review

Over the years we have seen some very impressive products from Antec, their Kühler 920 as one example sits at the high end of its market segment. They also often take a different approach to designs and that can easily be seen in the True Power Quattro 1200w which we reviewed a while back. While Antec have continued to expand their product catalogue it is fair to say that most people still see them as primarily a case manufacturer and it is from that area that today’s review product comes.

The Antec Eleven Hundred is an enthusiast case which aims to give consumers a flexible, customisable chassis with a high level of build quality. Today we look at it in detail to find out if it offers a desirable alternative to models from other manufacturers in the same enthusiast market.

Packaging and Bundle

Antec package the Eleven Hundred in a large box with an image of the case on the front and feature information on the other sides. Upon opening the box we find the case wrapped in a plastic bag, protected by foam and note that the side panel is covered by protective material.

Bundled with the Eleven Hundred is a basic manual, all of our screws/standoffs for the build, cable ties, and some rails for drive installation.

NOTE: We have mentioned it before and will again here. Case manufacturers should include a full manual with their products. We appreciate the environmental benefits of not providing one other than on their site but it isn’t always possible to access the web for someone who is building a system from scratch.
