As we noted earlier in the review the 680 allows us, when used with the correct software, to take advantage of GPU acceleration in tasks which are normally performed on CPU only. One such piece of software is Cyberlink MediaExpresso.


Benchmark Results

In this test we can see the advanced video encoding technology available within the GTX 680 reducing our CPU use when compared with a Radeon 7970. Time taken is slightly faster on the AMD card when using our test clip and an Android tablet as our destination file type.
