Shogun 2 was tested at 1920×1080 with no AA, 16xAF and all other settings at their maximum as well as 5760×1080 with the same settings.

At the 7970 launch we saw that the new AMD GPU performed very well compared to any card available at the time but the launch of Kepler see’s NVIDIA close the gap and exceed the performance of a reference 7970 at 1920×1080. The heavily overclocked 7970 does score a little higher though.

Moving to 5760×1080 and the GTX 680 doesn’t quite hit the same performance levels, averaging 6fps lower than the reference 7970 with a noticeably lower minimum framerate as well.
