Palit GeForce GTX 680 Jetstream Edition Graphics Card Review

GTX 680 3D Vision Performance

Like previous generations of GeForce product the GTX 680 fully supports stereoscopic 3D for games and movies. To test this technology we ran through our 1920×1080 Skyrim test again (8xAA, 16AF, Ultra, FXAA).

Benchmark Results

NVIDIA recommend a few image quality tweaks for 3DVision to look its best in Skyrim (water detail, crosshair settings etc), for our testing purposes we have not enabled them so that we may compare framerates in a like for like situation.

As shown above the Palit GTX 680 has no problem running Skyrim with 3D and maximum quality enabled, it averages 49fps rather than 101 (4fps above reference) as the card is processing twice the work however is completely smooth when playing.
