Maximum Overclock

On the last page we covered how overclocking on the Palit GTX 680 works using the PrecisionX tool but what was our maximum overclock on this card?

Stock OC Stock 3D Mark OC 3DMark
1085/1575
(1150 Boost)
150% Power
+177MHz Core
+465MHz Mem
(1354/1805)
X3463 X3955

By maxing out the power target slider which in the latest version of PrecisionX gives us up to 150% and upping the GPU voltage slider to its maximum we found our stable core offset was +177MHz with memory offset of +465MHz. This is a significant improvement over the reference design on both fronts. Our card peaked at 1354MHz core with memory hitting 1805MHz (or 3610/7220MHz depending on the calculation used). This gave us a 3DMark Extreme profile score of 3955.
