One of the many tasks consumers regularly perform on their systems is watching streaming content such as video on YouTube. Of course like any other media source YouTube also allows us to watch high definition video and with the latest flash player our GPU can assist in processing the playback.

Another demanding tasks which can be performed in our browser, and the CPU assisted by our GPU, is HTML5 rendering; demanding pages which often feature video content.

For high end users it is rare to see a media playback test which stresses the high end CPU which will no doubt be paired with our new 7800. That continues to be the case here with plenty of CPU resource free during playback of 1080p YouTube or HTML5.
