Star Wars: The Old Republic – DirectX 9
The Old Republic was tested at 1920×1080 with all settings at their maximum. Testing was performed with the most recent patch.
We finish our gaming tests with a look at the recently released Star Wars: The Old Republic, a new MMORPG from Bioware and Lucasarts. Before we look specifically at the results though there are two points of note. The first is that as with all online games the benchmark runs will have a little more variance than single player titles which are easier to control in terms of repeated runs. The second aspect is that SW:TOR is capped at 112fps, something which really only affects 1920×1080 and below.
In this test we again see the 7850 OC performing very well. In each of the measured areas the card is faster than the 560 Ti OC and hits the framerate cap which is always good to see.
