XFX Radeon 7850 Black Edition Double Dissipation and AMD Anti-Aliasing Review

At the beginning of this month AMD launched their 7800 series of graphics cards which offer the same features as the 7900 products but in a more affordable package. Since then we have seen manufacturers such as XFX bring custom 7870s to market, enhancing the AMD design and performance and now we have the 7850 equivalent.

Based on a custom design the XFX Radeon R7850 Black Edition Double Dissipation is factory overclocked and has a familiar look to the more expensive 7900 series XFX cards. Today we will take a look at it in a selection of the latest games to find out what it offers over a standard design. Additionally we will be taking a look at the various anti-aliasing modes available on the XFX card and how they affect performance and image quality.

Packaging and Bundle

XFX stick with a box design which resembles the more expensive 7000 series cards in their product range, noting the enhanced cooler design on the packaging. Inside we find a bundle which includes product documentation, door hanger, case badge and crossfire bridge.
