Intel inside Smartphone arrives from Orange, HH attends

Today we attended the launch of the Intel / Orange handset, introduced by Graham Palmer from Intel, after receiving our press briefing on the upcoming handset we got our first hands on with the device.

Powered by Intel’s single-core Atom Z2460 processor and running Google’s Android software (Gingerbread) the handset is manufactured by Gigabyte but sold under the Orange brand name. This is the first “Intel inside” handset to be introduced and should hit store shelves on the 6th June here in the UK with other markets expected to receive the handset shortly after.
