Cooler Master HAF XM Mid-Tower Case Review

For some time now Cooler Master have been working on their HAF brand, from the original HAF 932 through to the Advanced model we reviewed last July. The HAF range, as the name somewhat suggests, is designed for High AirFlow and Cooler Master as well as tweaking the styling from model to model have also been changing features to suit different consumers.

The latest case in the HAF range is the XM model, a mid-tower which takes the overall design of the HAF X and shrinks the dimensions. Today we have a HAF XM on our test bench and will be looking in at it in detail to see if Cooler Master have another high quality case on the market.

Packaging and Bundle

Cooler Master package the HAF XM in a box which shows a clear image of the case on the front. Various blurbs tell us about the product specifications and it is good to see that Cooler Master have added handles to the packaging, something often lacking in cases. Inside we find the HAF XM suspended in polystyrene and wrapped in a protective bag. A white sticker on the front tells us that it can be removed aver we take out the middle drive bays.

Bundled with the HAF XM Cooler Master provide the manual, non-slip tray, cable ties, screws and a speaker to plug into our motherboard for post codes.
