In the laptop marketplace Intel have spent some considerable time and resource, with their partners, in pushing the Ultrabook concept. Machines which are designed to take on the Macbook in consumers minds, generally featuring metal chassis, Solid State drives and a thin form factor. In amongst all this there was one real alternative for those looking for a reasonably powerful but portable system, Alienwares M11x. That system offered some excellent productivity and gaming performance and for some time went unchallenged.
One company out to match and maybe even exceed Alienware in offering a compact alternative to Ultrabooks is Eurocom. Their Monster system manages to pack in an i7 CPU and impressive GeForce 600 series GPU into an 11" form factor and today we have one on our test bench.
Packaging and Bundle
Like many of the ultrabooks we have seen the Eurocom box is plain brown cardboard. Inside the system is suspended in foam and wrapped in a plastic bag for extra protection. Bundled with the system will be product documentation and off to the side a 90w PSU manufactured by Li Shin.
Also bundled with the system is of course a battery and in this case a LI-ION model rated for 5600mAh and 62.16Wh.
Today we have a 13.3" gaming laptop up for review by Kaeyi, the P304 features the NVIDIA GTX 860M graphics chip and Core i7 processor, watch the video below.
