SteelSeries Guild Wars 2 Gaming HeadsetSteelSeries are a company who continually produce high quality products mainly focusing on mice, keyboards to headsets. Whenever we have a SteelSeries item on our test bench we can always count on it to be well made and they rarely disappoint, in fact they often exceed our expectations. Today we will be taking a look at the new Guild Wars 2 gaming headset from SteelSeries. Sometimes with franchise tie-ins we find that a company has counted on the name on the box on not put the effort in with the actual product, will SteelSeries fall foul of this same issue? |

Packaging and Bundle
The headset is provided in a medium sized cardboard box that carries a large picture of the headset on the front along with a prominent Guild Wars 2 logo. The package also uses graphics that match those we have seen in the new Guild Wars 2 game.
Turning to the rear of the package we find a list of the key features of the headset which are presented in four languages. There is also a list of the technical specifications of the headset which are presented in English.
The Guild Wars 2 headset features a flip top lid, which is secured with a Velcro tab on the right hand side of the box. Opening up the lid we find that the headset is clearly visible through a large clear plastic lid. On the inside cover of the lid there is a short section of text that introduces the concept of the new Guild Wars 2 game along with another large graphic of the headset. |
